Course Outline

Unit I: Introduction to Indian Knowledge System (IKS)

Definition, nature, and importance of Indian Knowledge System. Philosophical foundations of IKS and its interdisciplinary nature. Overview of India's contributions in mathematics, science, technology, medicine, and linguistics.

Unit II: Applications and Relevance of IKS in Modern Context

Relevance of IKS in modern education, governance, and technology. Ethics, sustainability, and holistic well-being in Indian traditions. Integration of Yoga, Ayurveda, and environmental balance for sustainable living.
